5. Instructions by the commander:
 
1. As the water content of soil in the mountainous regions reaches saturation due to recent continuous rainfall and it may cause mudslide, considering that local rainfall will still occur especially in Kaohsiung and Pingtung, hence the agriculture, forestry, fishery and animal husbandry group is required to continue to monitor and make rolling adjustments on the red and yellow warnings; the evacuation and resettlement group is required to continue to supervise local governments and practically implement evacuation and resettlement operation to ensure the safety of the public.
 
2. In regard to the interruption of certain high-speed railway sections and precautionary closures of highways, the traffic engineering group is requested to continue to announce the latest status regarding road traffic, interruption and control condition, as well as information regarding suspension (resumption) and delay of Taiwan Railways and sea transportation, as well as make rolling adjustment of the response measures under the condition of safety, and use diverse media channels to notify the public in advance.
3. In view of the local governments’ various restoration operations after the decreasing rainfall and flooding recedes, the medical and environmental protection group is requested to continue to implement environmental clean, sanitation and disinfection to prevent related epidemics due to the breeding of mosquitoes.
