Tropical storm Bavi is located 210 km northeast of Taipei as of 20:30 Aug 22, and is traveling at 10 km/h north northeast toward northeast. The atmospheric pressure is 985 hPa at its center. The wind speed is 25 m/sec, or 90 km/h, close to its center, equivalent to level 10 wind. The maximum gust is 33 m/sec or 119 km/h, equivalent to level 12 wind. The radius of storm is 80 km for level 7 wind. The storm is still posing a threat to the northern seas of Taiwan.
